Free Child Safety Seat Inspections in Washington DC – Sept 24

Certified child passenger safety technicians will offer free inspections of child safety seats in Washington Dc on Sept 24, and these technicians will also show proper seat belt and child seat use. No appointment is necessary.  The free event is Saturday, Sept. 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will be held at the Vehicle Inspection Station (1001 Half St. SW). For more information, head here.    Child safety seats and booster seats save lives, but it’s not always easy to know if you’re using them correctly. This week is Child Passenger Safety Week, and it ends on Saturday with National Seat Check Saturday. Parents and guardians in the District can take part in a local event hosted by the District Department of Motor Vehicles and the District Department of Transportation.
