Ever wondered what the inside of the beautiful and intricate embassies looked like? Now’s your chance to find out! On May 5 and 12, Cultural Tourism DC will be kicking off their annual FREE embassy tours. Both of these events are part of PassportDC, a month-long initiative to showcase international culture. This is an amazing opportunity for visitors to travel the world while staying right in the city.

 

Around the World Embassy Tours

 

  • When: Saturday May 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Where: At over 40 participating embassies across Washington, D.C. Cultural Tourism DC will announce their original meeting place seven days before the event. The group says they usually meet at a Metro station and then heads over to the embassies together.
  • Cost: FREE, many of the embassies do require photo ID to enter.
  • Register: While you can just show up the day of, Cultural Tourism DC asks that you register ahead of time here to receive information and updates about the event.
